Cartoons and News

This page will contain links to various interesting blog items, political commentaries, and news stories – at least interesting in The Hippie Professor’s opinion.  The intent is to keep it fresh and current, but also to keep it as an archive. It will be updated regularly (hopefully daily) with the most recent stuff at the top.

By the way, do you have an account at digg.com? It is another great way to help other people see the items YOU find important. Go here to check it out.

Lottie – thank YOU! I have been posting links to your video all around the blogsphere – it really captures what I have been trying to say – but I haven’t been able to say it with near the clarity or humor.

      Keep up the good fight….

I’d like to see my blog of tomorrow and today on Digg but I don’t see how to send them. If you ever have any free time off from torturing your students, would it be possible for you to point me in the right direction to obtain that information? I went to the digg site but I don’t know what to look for. I’m only a few inches beyond toddlerhood as far as accessing anything to do with my blog. Thanks for any help you can give.

atticannie: I don’t know the digg system particularly well – but here is what I have done.

      1) Get an digg account….

      2) Once you have an account, go to the site and select “submit new” from the top tool bar. You will then be able to post a URL to your blog for that day. Note that you can submit almost anything you find on the net – it does not have to be something you wrote – just something you like and you think others should see.

      3) It seems to help if you go to digg and get involved in digging and commenting on other people’s submitted articles.
