Some people see the glass as half full.
We call them optimists. They can be annoying at times, but they are often fun to have around.
Some people see the glass as half empty. We call them pessimists. They can also be annoying, and probably are not quite as much fun to have around – but they usually are not too bad.
Some people, observing that there is too much water in the glass, will pour some of it out and then complain that the glass is indeed empty.
We have lots of names for them, but I think psycho fits pretty well.
They should be avoided at all costs.
